|Historically, to encrypt data at rest (aka on-disk encryption) required using a third-party product. Informix 12.10.xC8 introduced native on-disk encryption with technology from the IBM Global Security Kit (GSKit). While encryption at rest can provide a tremendous increase in data security, there are things you need to know in the configuration and use of the technology. This session will explore configuration, use and best practices of using encryption at rest.
